My name is Guilherme Mogames and I have been the lead singer in rock cover bands from Boston to San Diego since 2014. Every gig, I perform nearly 50 songs and I started growing frustrated with iPad stands and those awful lyrics sheets. After some research, I found that the prompters on the market for musicians are way too expensive, especially for a hobby musician. What’s more, they are just too big and clunky and difficult to carry around. That’s when I decided I could build a better lyrics prompter myself.

Now, at every gig I play, musicians will ask me where I purchased that super cool lyrics prompter that blends right in with my regular stage equipment. I realized that these musicians have similar problems with lyrics prompters, and once they discover that I built my lyrics prompter myself, each musician ends up asking if I could build one for them as well.

I live in Winchester, CA now and I am asked regularly about my lyrics prompter. Musicians would love to own a stage prompter like this, but the options available are not optimal for hobby musicians and certainly not affordable.
